TechArt 300bhp Boxster S Facelift + Hardtop (2002)
This is a truly rare car...
Superb condition facelift 986 S with TechArt £5300 circa 300bhp conversion and hardtop. TechArt make some of the wildest Porsche conversions in the world, see www.techart.de for more info! Full porsche history, last service in October 07. Just had MOT and tax. New battery just fitted at £120. Receipts for the history and the TechArt conversion. Basalt Black. Matching hard top with stand. Black leather sport seats. Full leather including dash, doors and roof hoops etc. Porsche logo embossed in headrests. 18" carrera 5 spokes with no kerbing. Continental N rated tyres. TechArt wheel centres [the only giveaway to the performance] and also original coloured Porsche Crested wheel centres. Litronic Xenon lights. Bose hifi with CD in dash. Sony Ericsson bluetooth kit. Climate control. PSM. Small chrome pack with silver dash vent, instrument surround, gearstick surround and the nicer, chunkier gearstick. 6 speed manual with short shifter. Electric windows and mirrors etc. Softtop was weatherproofed by Porsche early 2007 and the hartop has been on since September due to the rubbish summer we had. Smart top which allows the roof to be raised or lowered with one touch at upto 20mph. Now the performance - TechArt performance package consisting of: TechArt ECU Remap TechArt racing manifold TechArt 200CEL racing CAT's TechArt sports exhaust All fitted by Tech9 in Hale [www.tech9.ms], Liverpool who are the official TechArt distributor at a cost of £5,300!!! With around 240bhp per tonne, the car has shattering accelleration. It has been timed from a rolling 10-70 in around 5 seconds with 2 people in the car and the roof down. Roof up and just the driver I would expect 0-60 in well under 5. The car sounds like an F430 when driven hard but around town its very civilised and not too boomy. Condition of the exterior is great, with no dents or damage, just the odd stone chip in keeping with the age/miles etc. Inside its excellent with normal light wear. Only fault (as I'm fussy) - the CD changer does not always work correctly, but the car has the single CD in the dash. Rare chance to grab a 986S with the power to shock 987, Cayman and 911 drivers. Any questions please ask, thanks. Part Exchange: Anything considered up or down
