It's Motor Show time soon and we know how TVR like to spring a surprise. So it's time for a bit of (tongue in cheek) speculation by PistonHeads.

The Griffith City Car.
Destined to wipe the floor with the Smart Car, the V8 powered car can not only fit into the smallest of parking spaces it's tight turning circle make it a natural in the crowded streets of our cities. 0-60 in 4.3 seconds ensures a rapid launch from the traffic lights. Side paniers bags and an annoying high pitched horn would be obvious optional extras.

Touring in the Griff can be cumbersome if you need a lot of luggage, so this optional body style could be a hit across Europe. With room for eight suitcases, an extra fuel tank and a kennel, it's sure to the exotic car to be seen cruising the French boulevards soon. Options would include a built in power shower or cappucino machine.

With a hint of nostalgia for the old E-Type, it's family's dream car. The Cerbera hatch will soon replace the Mercedes Estate as the car blocking up the streets to the private schools. Little Johnny and friends have plenty of room in the back and there's plenty of room for the nanny in the boot too.

...and finally the ultimate rep-mobile. Plenty of room for your briefcase and papers in the back with an twin coat hooks to allow two suit jackets to be hung for the ultimate in rep-one-upmanship. The fleet manager will be happy too as the 1099cc V8 does 35mpg and fits into the lowest tax brack too. No problem doing your 18,000 miles a year now eh?
